With many years of experience, including 20 years at Houston Community College and maintaining a private home studio for younger students, I’ve developed a well-rounded program for students of all ages. I love coaching students pursuing any style of music and I believe in developing strong fundamentals, while keeping the focus on the fun of playing an instrument. Nothing brings me greater joy than helping someone learn to play or improve on their instrument!

$60/hour, $30/half-hour.

In-home lessons available for students located in the Heights, Garden Oaks, Oak Forest area.

-BIO-

I come from an eclectic musical background, including, strong classical training, ethnic music performances, pop/rock and jazz bands.

My teaching ability is enriched by all of these experiences.

I have a wide range of professional experiences, including six years with the Houston Symphony and twenty years as an adjunct professor for Houston Community College.

In addition to my passion for teaching, I serve as artistic director for The Houston Balalaika Society Orchestra and manager/leader for my own bands.
